Aqui esta tu respuesta querido:....Beyond the tahini-makers, confectioners are dipping threaded walnuts into thick syrup as if they were lumpy candles. The process is laborious for the syrup must dry before it’s dipped again and the “candle” must be at least as thick as a plump sausage. In fact, this distinctive sweet is called soutzouk loukoum– soutzouk as in sausage, loukoum as in Turkish delight. The confectioners also make those, so we add several handfuls of bite-sized rosewater-perfumed loukoumia to the sweet and savory “sausages” in our bulging shopping bag.
Luckily some of the tastes of Thrace are portable. And they travel well.

Forma alargada, espolvoreado con azúcar glas. Frutos secos y gelatina bien cuajada.
Hecho de menos esos sabores y esas formas.
